Case Rooms

Real situations. Hidden patterns. A different way of seeing what is happening.

Sometimes it is difficult to understand what is happening in our own lives.

We may keep having the same argument. Feel stuck after losing someone. Feel overwhelmed by thoughts we cannot switch off. Struggle to understand a relationship, a choice, or a change that has happened.

Case Rooms are fictional educational scenarios created around situations people may recognise from everyday life.

They are not stories about actual Chromfinite clients. They are not diagnoses or clinical case studies.

Instead, each Case Room begins with an ordinary human situation and looks a little deeper.

What happens beneath the situation?

A repeated argument may not really be about the subject being argued over.

A person who seems to be avoiding a conversation may be trying to manage something they do not know how to express.

After a loss, the hardest question may not be “How do I stop feeling this?” but “How do I live in the life that exists now?”

The Case Room allows you to pause and look at the situation differently.

Why Case Rooms?

Because recognition can sometimes come before explanation.

You may read a situation and think:

“Something like this happens to me.”

Or perhaps:

“I never looked at it that way before.”

That moment of recognition can be useful.

It can help you notice patterns, understand your own experience more clearly, and think about what you might want to do next.

What you will find here

Each Case Room explores a different human situation through a short, accessible story.

You may find:

  • relationships and repeating conflicts
  • communication difficulties
  • grief and loss
  • emotional and behavioural patterns
  • life changes and difficult transitions
  • questions about identity, choices and relationships

The situations are fictional and may combine elements from different kinds of everyday experiences.

These are not clinical case studies

Case Rooms are educational, fictional and non-clinical.

They do not diagnose anyone, provide a clinical assessment, or suggest that a particular person has a particular condition.

If a situation feels familiar, that does not mean you have the same problem as the person in the story.

The purpose is simpler:

to help you understand the situation you are experiencing a little better.

Start with a Case Room

You don’t need to know exactly what is wrong before you begin.

Choose a situation that feels familiar.

Read it.

Pause.

See what you recognise.

And if you find yourself wanting to understand your own situation more deeply, you can explore the relevant Chromfinite service or request a conversation with a psychologist.
